My display at INSPIRED CRAFTS (meet the design team)

I really tried to take (different things) than everyone else.It went down a treat and I'm glad everyone liked it alot :)This whole party theme was made using the new Bo Bunny little Whoo-ligans rangeThe next on the list was my Blood Lust Ball Party theme. Most of the people following my blog have seen this but for the few that are new this is what i did for my daughters 13th birthday party.
This is a Twiddleybitz shadow box i made using the 3d church....very different to all the wedding ones i have seen. This is not the best picture but i will try and take some better ones showing more detail.
Next was a few layouts i took of the kids dressed up for Halloween.
I have many more but these are the ones i took to Inspired Crafts.

To finish off the table i mad a few treat boxes. Its always good to see things made out of left over paper and card stock.
Thanks for taking the time to look...Xx

A little bit of Dusty Attic

I came across these trees from Dusty Attic! and i loved them,They are meant to go inside an advent calender but i love them just sitting by them selves

Halloween

Well i know Halloween is not that big here but i love letting the kids dress up.So this year i made a banner to hang on the door as we get a lot of kids here. This first pic is not that good.but i hope you can see the detail in the other pictures.
I used Doodlebug design paper with old k&co letters that i painted black sanded and glossed with crackle accents. The black dies on here are mostly of the october 31st cricut cratridge with the bats being a cuttlebug die,all of this strung together with a mix of ribbions.

Christmas angel

I brought this amazing angel from Maxines Melange. You buy it as a kit and she emails photos of how to put it together.I can not bear to put her away so she has been sitting on my cupboard all year round. If you get a change, scroll down and follow the link to  http://www.maxinesmelange.com she has amazing kits and lots of really nice things! its really worth a look! You can get a newsletter from her too so you can be the first to see all the new stuff.I'm not sure if she will be doing this angel again but I'm sure if you keep asking she may bring her back again...Xx

Thanx

I just want to say thanks to everyone for there support in my design team work!!! i cant wait to get started..my mind is working over time :) in a good way,but i would love to be able to sleep!!

I just want to show you all another tile canvas that i made last year,This one was made for my sister, she did not know i was making her one,she seen mine whilst she was over here on holidays and said she would LOVE one,So i thought i would make her one as i knew i was going to see her a few months later. So i made tile after tile for months on end. I was also showing 3 other friends how to make theirs too,so my house was full of tiles.... 420 on each canvas.I made mine in 3 parts as i needed to get it to Sydney, once i was there i used hinges to hold it as one long canvas and i must say my sister loves it!!
On some of the tiles i use pictures of us when we were small and old family photos, numbers that have meanings and letters of every ones names.
Xx c u soon

...WOW...

Wow i have had some great news(for the last week)Thanks to INSPIRED CRAFTS i have been ask to be on there design team :)......im sooooo happy!!I cant wait to see what is install for me!

Here is a Twiddleybitz sleigh i made a few years back now,but its a favourite of mine.
I put little LCD lights in the bottom and it makes the glitter embossing i did over the Jo Sonjas rich gold paint SPARKLE!!Here you can see the embossing power looks like snow..i used White glue to stick the embossing power so when you heat it it bubbles up a little and then goes back down to give a lumpy(not sure what to call it ) affect.Fill it and its  ready to display.Xx
More christmas things to come...lol

13th birthday party

For my daughters 13th birthday party she wanted some thing amazing, something that her friends would talk about for years to come! So we came up with the idea of a "blood lust ball"..... So to make this happen i had to put my thinking cap on,and this is what i came up with.... A candle stick..it had to have the dripping wax and spider webs...I picked this candle stick holder up at a 2nd hand shop for $5(turned out great).....We also had to have some thing all the guests could sign so this Kaiser tab book came in handy..I used a candle to drip (blood) from the cover, once the guests had signed it i then filled it full of photos from the party..
So next to do on the to do list was lolly boxes...I thought the kids were a little to old for lolly boxes....but my daughter wanted them so i had to make them....Coffins!!!I down loaded a template and cut them all out by hand taped them together and stamped a skeleton on the inside saying thanks for being a victim of Ebonnis 13th birthday! I then filled them with red gum balls and teeth lollys topped with spider web so when you opened the lid it looked like spiders had been nesting in there...lol.... I then silver embossed a cross on the top followed by more dripping blood!!!
We also had to find BLACK CATS whats a blood lust ball with out black cats......i found them at a local party shop......Bargin $20 for both..
So then it came to the cake........OMG it had to be big and fit the theme.....So i was on the hunt for a bat cookie cutter..I found one...I made them from moulding paste and black glitter...It turned out just how i wanted and everybody LOVED it !!

Well the birthday girl had to have a costume..So we surfed ebay till we came across something that no other girl would of think off....A dark fairy...this costume was a real bargin $21 delivered.

Making the food was the real hard part of the party( i had great friends to help me)But every thing went down a treat!!
I then had to do something with the glasses....dripping blood came to mind....and this is what i came up withI also needed some thing to hold lolly pops ( do you know how hard it is to find a lolly pop holder?)OMG so i then had to make one...lol...(i have a hard life)A bodice in a coffin!!So all the guests turned up dressed up...and the party went of without a hitch...The girls still talk about it till this day and cant wait to see what we are going to do next year!!( sorry girls no parties till sweet 16) and must i say it she is working on ideas now!!! AAAARRRRRRRRRR...I also forgot to say i made invites too...i have to find a pic of them so when i do i will post it......Xx
